Alternative rock band Weezer have announced the release of a new album and two live shows in the UK in April.

The band previously released the single ‘Do You Wanna Get High?’ last November, which will be included on the upcoming album. The new release doesn’t have a title as of yet, but fans of the band have been dubbing it ‘The White Album’ due to it’s all-white cover – which is designed in a similar vein to their previous blue, red and green themed records.

The band will also be performing in Manchester and London to celebrate the album’s release at the Manchester Academy on 3rd April and London’s O2 Academy Brixton on 5th April. Tickets for both dates go on sale at 9am on Friday 22nd January.

The new album will be released on 1st April, including the newly released single ‘King of the World’ which can be heard in the video below.
