With a new EP or LP in motion, Girl Friend have released their latest single, ‘Tragic on the Dancefloor’.
The track follows ‘Waste My Time’ and ‘Nocturnal’, both of which have the same cover art – hinting at another EP, or hopefully, their debut LP.
‘Tragic On The Dancefloor’ doesn’t stray far from the band’s signature electro-pop vibe and silky vocals, but has a different sound to ‘Nocturnal’ with its much heavier synthetic tones.
Girl Friend are currently performing around the UK on various small festival circuits. The band will soon be heading to more well known events such as Dot to Dot and The Great Escape, where they will perform amongst the likes of Oh Wonder and The Temper Trap.
