Christopher Nolan unveils first Dunkirk teaser – watch

Christopher Nolan has unveiled the first teaser trailer for his latest film, Dunkirk.

In the tense ‘announcement’ teaser, we get a first glimpse at the Interstellar director’s first war movie, which once again features some truly beautiful cinematography – courtesy of second-time collaborator, Hoyte van Hoytema.

The film, which boasts an all-star cast including the likes of Tom Hardy, Cillian Murphy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh and One Direction’s Harry Styles, is set in World War II and tells the true story of Operation Dynamo; a daring plan to rescue 300,000 allied troops who were surrounded by Nazi soldiers in Dunkirk.

Frustratingly, the video, which is currently being shown in trailer reels before Suicide Squad, doesn’t indicate a specific release date.

Dunkirk is expected to be released at some point in 2017. Watch the teaser below.
