David Bowie’s band to release album dedicated to the late musician


The band who contributed to David Bowie’s final album ‘Blackstar’ have announced that they will be producing a record inspired by and dedicated to Bowie himself.

Saxophonist Donny McCaslin is accompanied by bassist Tim Lefebvre, drummer Mark Guiliana and Jason Lindner, guitarist Nate Wood and producer David Binney.

The album will consist of original tracks by McCaslin alongside covers of artists such as Deadmau5, Mutemath, The Chainsmokers and Bowie.

The group are set to release the record Beyond Now on October 14 via Motema Music.
