Hufflepuffs. That Harry Potter Hogwarts house that are often pegged as “all the rest” compared to Gryffindor, Ravenclaw and Slytherin’s distinct traits. The house that often gets mistreated or abused- but ‘No more’, says Eddie Redmayne in a brand new video clip.
Framed as a pro-Hufflepuff PSA, the Fantastic Beasts star states that he is a Hufflepuff, before launching into listing all the traits that he believes Hufflepuff should be more recognised and appreciated for. He then goes on to name other famous Hufflepuffs including Cedric Diggory, and Dwayne, ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
The most Hufflepuff part about this, is probably when Eddie Redmayne berates himself after swearing, by saying: “Sorry, it’s naughty to swear.”
Redmayne has done this as part of his promotion for Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, where he plays magizoologist Newt Scamander. The film is released this Friday, 18th November.
