Jack Garratt, who features on The Edge’s List of 2016, releases his highly anticipated debut album Phase this week. On the other end of the scale, Animal Collective return with their tenth studio album Painting With, the follow up to 2012’s Centipede Hz. Karen Harding is set to release her new track ‘Open My Eyes’, too.

American, experimental pop group Animal Collective are releasing their tenth studio album Painting With featuring contributions from John Cale and Colin Stetson. Despite the group moving on to individual projects after their previous album, the band are back with a different vibe and even an app for their album. Out Via Domino.

Jack Garratt, Brit Award Winner and Winner of BBC Sound of 2016 will be releasing Phase this week. There has been a lot of recent hype of Garratt in the past few months and expectations are high, especially since the releases of singles ‘Worry’ and ‘Breathe Life’. Out Via Island Records.

Singer/songwriter BJ The Chicago Kid is releasing is second album In My Mind. However, this is BJ’s first album with record label ‘Motown’. Having featured on Grand Theft Auto V and a Kanye West  and Chance The Rapper track, it is surprising this artist isn’t better known. Out Via Motown.

‘Open My Eyes’ is the latest release from Karen Harding, a 24 year-old singer from County Durham. Her debut single ‘Say Something’ was released in early 2016, with ‘Open My Eyes’ marrying Harding’s ethereal vocals with a racing rhythm. Out via Capitol.
