Queen have confirmed that they are going to release a new album which is to feature unheard tracks sung by the late Freddie Mercury.

The record is to be released by the end of the year and is likely to be entitled Queen Forever.

The unreleased tracks are to date back to the 1980s, featuring the original vocals of Freddie Mercury himself, united with recently recorded instrumental material.

Brian May previously revealed that Mercury’s unreleased material consisted of a duet with Michael Jackson, but it is unknown whether this is to feature on the upcoming album.

Queen have produced 15 studio albums and are the creators of iconic tracks such as ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, and ‘We Will Rock You’.
