20 year old native New Yorker Tor Miller will be playing another London headline show at Birthdays on the 27th May. Piano playing Miller sings intense emotional songs with his rich and almost husky voice from the States to Europe; having just played at The Great Escape in Brighton and London Calling in Amsterdam.
Miller’s iPhone recorded tune ‘Hold the Phone’ gained attention from Zane Lowe and named a Next Hype track on the BBC Radio 1 show. Subsequent support from the radio station continues to help Miller gain exposure; playing his songs ‘Midnight’ and ‘Headlights’, Miller has also been on Radio 1’s Piano Sessions recently.
Attended New York University’s Clive Davis School of Music before signing to Glassnote Records (Mumford and Sons, Phoenix, Two Door Cinema Club) and having played residencies at burlesque joint The Slipper Room had honed Miller’s craft and made him a seasoned performer.
Joining Miller for the night is another Communion Music backed artist Jack Watts, whom recently debut EP Red Shortbread.
