With the first days of spring officially upon us, it’s time to officially clear out those winter blues!
The Mayflower:
The stand out feature at the Mayflower this week is the touring production of Matthew Bourne’s Swan Lake. A modern day interpretation of the classic story, we are promised a ‘thrilling, audacious, and original production’.
The show runs from 25th – 29th March. Tickets range from £17.50 – £35. Discounted rates are available to students. £12.50 for tickets on opening night, and £5 off any other performance.
The Nuffield
For the next couple of weeks, the Nuffield is going to be home to the seminal classic Spring Awakening. A dark tale about the shaping of youth will be brought to life by director Ben Kidd. Billed as ‘newly wild and newly convincing’, this will not be a show to miss. (Image credit to Tristram Kenton)
Running from 25th March – 5th April, tickets range from £10.50 – £20.
Annex Theatre
SUSU’s Theatre Group will be putting on another production this week, in the form of Blithe Spirit. The play is sure to be a hilarious watch, following the farcical story of a man who has summoned his late wife’s spirit to haunt him and his new wife.
The show runs from 26th-29th March, with tickets costing £9 for adults, £6 for students or £5 for Performing Arts members.
