A first trailer has been released by Universal Pictures for Riot Club, a film which is based on Laura Wade’s play, Posh.
Max Irons (known best for his roles in The White Queen and The Host) and Sam Claflin (seen most recently in Hunger Games: Catching Fire) star in the trailer which focuses on a group of students based in Oxford University, the ‘Riot Club’ which is a fictionalised version of the ‘Bullingdon Club’. The film is based upon the critically acclaimed play by Laura Wade, which was performed on the West End in 2012, in the Duke of York Theatre.
The film also features Game of Thrones star Natalie Dormer, Downton Abbey alumn Jessica Brown Findlay, Douglas Booth and Holliday Granger.
Riot Club will be released in cinemas in the UK 19th September 2014.
