Thanks very much for joining us. Commiserations for James, I expect big discussions over the next couple of days. But congratulations to Italy, I deserved song to win! I can't wait for their eventual UK tour!
Closing thoughts – don't despair. Britain is capable of winning Eurovision again, I have no doubt of that. We just need a different approach, something other than a generic X-Factor 30-year-old male singer. But then again, maybe we're too disadvantaged by the fact not enough people in Europe love us enough to vote for us. Or maybe we need to take it more seriously, be less apathetic to our entries.
Do feel sorry for James, but he took it so well, didn't he? He shouldn't have done. I hope he starts a fight with the German entry.
So there we go. We've learnt absolutely nothing, apart from how easy and fun it is to make fun of wannabe pop stars. Still, new KLF compilation might be coming out tomorrow. Hey ho. None of it matters anyway.
Wherever you are, if you've made it this far, thank you for spending your evening with us. Take care, see you whenever, and what are you going to do for us in return.
P.S. 50 pages exactly, 'ROCK AND ROLL NEVER DIES' – Think it might with you, Italy
And that's a wrap for this year's Eurovision 2021 commentary. It's been a pleasure to live blog with Max, Morgan and Theo. This has been Jo Lisney, Live editor for 2020/21, signing off.
Italy have won. Would've preferred Switzerland from musical standpoint. But what do I know.
Well done to Italy. That was a pretty cool song, but congratulations to all the top 3.
