Coinciding with a re-release of their classic album, ‘Moseley Shoals’, Ocean Colour Scene are touring again and this time they are playing the entirety of the album. The 1996 album catapulted them on to the Britpop scene, with a little help of Noel Gallagher, and frankly, it is their defining master piece of their career.
They may have been off the radar in recent years but with tracks such as ‘The Day We Caught The Train’, The Riverboat Song’ and ‘You’ve Got It Bad’ on the album, the gig is shaping up to be an excellent night. Nothing could be more exciting than getting to see a great band playing a Britpop classic. Simple.
Catch them at Southampton Guildhall, 15th February. Get tickets from www.livenation.co.uk/southampton or from the box office, 02380 632601
