Preview: City and Colour at O2 Academy, Bournemouth (03/02/2014)

Dallas Green, aptly under the name City and Colour will be performing at Bournemouth’s O2 Academy on 3rd February 2014. For those of you that were fans of Alexisonfire back in 2006, like I was, you’ll recognise the vocals of Dallas in his not-so-new solo endeavour. From hardcore to acoustic, Dallas has four records under his belt as City and Colour with the latest offering The Hurry and The Harm being some of his best work to date.

His vocal and lyrical ability are the draw for City and Colour with songs that are so melodically beautiful yet melancholy in theme. Tracks such as ‘Little Hell‘, ‘Grand Optimist‘ and ‘The Girl’ will be amongst the highly anticipated by fans as he graces the stage in Bournemouth. Check out ‘Thirst’ from his latest record The Hurry and The Harm below.

City and Colour will be touring the UK with eleven dates across the country, Bournemouth being the penultimate show. Check out tickets here.
