American metal core band Beartooth will be playing at the Thekla in Bristol before heading back out to Japan and America to finish off their tour.
Beartooth will be headline act with supporting acts 68 (a rock duo that formed in 2013) and Blood Youth (Lincoln hard-core band) at the Thekla; an acclaimed venue which will provide an intimate show aboard a cargo ship that has made the shortlist for Britain’s best small venue and is one of the city’s oldest and best loved clubs.
Frontman Caleb Shomo explains how the group’s debut album Disgusting was an expression of his own feelings and life that extended from before their EP Sick. The album has a presence about it that draws in hardcore, pop punks and metal alike to feed into the melodic, resounding lyrics and the destructive, pounding music. A way for us all to join in on Caleb’s form release.
We’ll hear a lot from Beartooth’s latest album Disgusting, released in 2014, and this alongside 68 and Blood Youth, should set up for an awesome night on the Mud Banks of Bristol.
