The Neighbourhood (often referred to as the NBHD) are an American alternative rock band originating from Newbury Park in California. Their debut album I Love You premiered in 2013, containing their hit single ‘Sweater Weather‘ which was initially showcased on BBC Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record. This was followed by a 2014 mixtape entitled #000000 & #FFFFFF. The band’s latest album, Wiped Out!, was released in October, and contains singles such as ‘R.I.P. To My Youth‘ and the title track, ‘Wiped Out!’

Their lead vocalist, Jesse Rutherford, has previously collaborated with French Montana and has plans to release a number of solo tracks under the alias ‘&’. Rutherford claims it is an “extension” of his character and also the name of his up-coming book.

The Neighbourhood first toured the UK in 2014 and plan to return this March, playing a show at the Portsmouth Pyramids on the 18th March, before finishing at The Roundhouse in London three days later. The band are also set to play this year’s Reading and Leeds festivals in the summer.
