Arctic Monkeys have released the video for single, ‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’. This is the third single of their upcoming fifth album AM.
Directed by Nabil Elderkin (who’s also directed videos for Bon Iver, Frank Ocean and Foals) it shows the band drinking in a bar. The drunk Alex Turner repeatedly sends messages to a girl (with no reply) and then sets out across London to find the girls house. On the journey he has various hallucinations eventually arriving at the wrong house. The video ends with the girl picking up her phone and ignoring all the messages.
‘Why’d You Only Call Me When You’re High?’ is out now.
