After over a decade of waiting, a new instalment of the Jurassic Park saga is on its way, and we finally have a trailer for it.
The film, set 22 years after the events of the first Jurassic Park chapter released back in 1993, was initially meant to receive a trailer earlier this Summer but was delayed until its reveal earlier today.
It gives numerous hints about the plot line and impressive cast including Chris Pratt, best known for his recent role in Guardians Of The Galaxy.
The fourth chapter of the popular science fiction film series sees scientists reopen a safari park which has reincarnated dinosaurs from multiple eras for the public’s enjoyment. However, with advances in DNA technology, they are able to manipulate the genome, creating a highly intelligent hybrid that’s set to wreak havoc.
The feature film is directed by Colin Trevorrow, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Derek Connolly. The director of the initial two movies, Steven Spielburg, is executive producer; the same role he played in the third film.
Legacy Effects, who’ve worked with special effects on films such as Avatar, Iron Man and Thor, are to create animatronic dinosaurs for the piece, a role they also fulfilled in all three of the previous instalments.
The new film is set for release on 12th June 2015. Watch the new trailer below.
