Gwen Stefani has revealed the video to accompany her new single, ‘Spark The Fire’.
The video consists of Stefani between the real world and an animated one, displaying the bright, gaudy, surreal videos that have characterised her latest pop endeavour and upcoming third studio album. The video also sees the appearance of Pharrell Williams who produced the track.
‘Speak The Fire’ serves as a follow-up to the lead single of the untitled album, ‘Baby Don’t Lie’. Although the latter is not released in the UK until next month, the single has been available to US audiences and peaked at 46 in the charts.
Williams and Stefani previously worked together on ‘Hollaback Girl’ which reached the top of the US charts, making the performance of ‘Baby Don’t Lie’ somewhat disappointing.
Few details are known about the album and its release date, apart from that it will be eight years after the singer-songwriter’s last LP release, which was back in 2006 with The Sweet Escape.
