Robbie Williams has premiered ‘Bully’, the first song from his newly released album Under The Radar: Volume I.
Announced by Williams in a personal video on 28th November and released only days later on 1st December, Under The Radar: Volume I is comprised of demos and songs recorded for previous albums and projects which have thus far remained unreleased.
The album’s release coincides, and will compete in the charts, with the newest release of his previous band Take That, entitled III. Williams toured with the group in 2011, and though he is not featured on this latest record, he has assured fans that is “pretty sure” he’ll be rejoining them in the future.
‘Bully’ features a strong baseline, almost reminiscent of the sound defining the Arctic Monkey’s 2013 album AM. The sound is starkly contrasted to ‘These Days’, Take That’s pop release from III which this week became their 12th ever number one single.
Under The Radar: Volume I is available in CD format direct from William’s website now, and will be released digitally 8th December 2014.
