Kodaline have premiered their new single, ‘Honest’, revealed on the band’s VEVO earlier today.
The track, which is due for release in February next year, is the lead single from the Irish band’s forthcoming album and was produced by Jacknife Lee, who has also worked with the likes of Taylor Swift and Snow Patrol. The track was written by Kodaline.
The song demonstrates Steve Garrigan’s powerful vocals, executing his gravelly tone perfectly, with the overall sound of the track demonstrating quite the epic chorus.
The band released their debut LP in 2013, entitled In a Perfect World. The album topped the charts in Ireland, and reached third position in the UK. The album spawned the top 20 single, ‘High Hopes’.
The band’s second studio album will be released some time in 2015, with more news to hit mainstream media next week.
