FKA twigs has premiered her new self-directed music video for ‘Pendulum’ via MTV. ‘Pendulum’ is taken from the singer’s Barclay Mercury Prize nominated album LP1.
The video features twigs dangling from her hair, covered in thick silver body paint and towards the end emerging with her hair loose and dancing on what look like disco balls, and as with everything the recently Grammy-nominated artist does, the craziness all comes together and completely works.
‘Pendulum’ has been a long time in the making, with twigs releasing a photo from the video set back in July, and another in October.
The single was originally released in July 2014 without an accompanying music video.
You can watch the video on the MTV website here.
