It has been confirmed that House of Cards will return for its fourth season.
The news was announced yesterday (2nd April), where it was revealed that the political drama will return to stream on Netflix in 2016.
Netflix also confirmed that production for the new season will begin this Summer.
The news arrives months after the third season was available to stream on Netflix, a season that was particularly focused on the developing relationship between Frank Underwood (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood (Robin Wright).
House of Cards since its debut season back in 2013 has acquired a mass fan base, met with both commercial and critical acclaim, with Spacey winning a Golden Globe for his performance and Wright being nominated for one.
