Ellie Goulding should expect a visit from Professor Xavier any day now, after showing off her mutant powers in the music video for her latest single.

The singer has teamed up with Tarrus Riley for Major Lazer’s new single ‘Powerful,’ which has been lifted from their latest album, Peace Is the Mission.
In the video, Goulding and Riley discover their talents for telekinesis while casually sitting in a quiet café. However by the visual’s end, the duo have quite literally turned the place on it’s head. Goulding hinted at the video earlier this month when she uploaded a picture of her rainbow striped hair onto twitter.
Major Lazer’s third studio album, Peace Is the Mission was released back in June and featured further collaborations with Ariana Grande, Elliphant, 2 Chainz and Wild Belle. The album spawned the global hit ‘Lean On’, which included the vocals of rising Danish star MØ.
Meanwhile, Goulding has assured fans that her third studio album will definitely be out before the end of the year. She is hotly tipped to be the singer behind the most recent Bond theme.
