The CEO of Disney has just revealed that Star Wars Land will be opening in Florida and California in 2019.
The theme park represents an ambitious project for Disney, with this new area representing the largest expansion ever carried out at either Walt Disney World or Disneyland. The franchise’s popularity will certainly attract more people to the parks, especially since 2019 will also see the release of Star Wars: Episode IX.
Beyond a few pieces of concept art, we don’t know much about these new areas. However, Disney have teased that one attraction will allow fans to pilot Han Solo’s iconic Millennium Falcon. As you might expect, fan speculation is raging about what we might see in 2019. (Personally, I’m hoping for a Mos Eisley Cantina restaurant!)
