The first information about Southampton Graduation Ball 2017, regarding entertainment and music has been released, with rap duo Tom Zanetti and K.O. Kane both set to play D.J. sets in The Cube.
Tom Zanetti is best known for his recent appearance on the UK singles chart with his hit ‘You Want Me’ which entered the singles chart on 25th November 2016, and peaked at number 22. K.O. Kane is an up-and-coming fellow rapper who recently released his latest album Sleepin is Cheatin, which was mixed by Zanetti.
The announcement also states a total transformation of the Union into a ‘formal evening venue’, with the Redbrick hosting a acoustic sounds and the chance to sample ‘champagne, prosecco and a food fair’. In an equally chilled manner, Bar 2 will become a Shisha garden for the evening.
For those that prefer a quieter atmosphere, head to the Bridge for a Silent Disco, where you can ‘relive your best nights out from uni’. As the night hots up, ‘a full live music takeover across The Stag’s and Garden Court, taking you back to your Freshers’ Ball’ will begin, which also promises to include huge experienced live acts.
Finally, attendees can get ‘get raving and misbehaving’ in The Cube with DJs Tom Zanetti and K.O Kane , while the Diner becomes a VIP experience to help celebrate ‘incredible achievements’. It is important to remember all of the decisions made for this years Graduation Ball are student-led.
