Canadian band, Arcade Fire, have released their video for ‘We Exist’; the third single lifted from fourth album, Reflektor.
The video sees Andrew Garfield (The Social Network, The Amazing Spider-Man) dressed in drag walking through a busy bar. Looking quite uncomfortable, reserved and coy, as their appearance is judged during the beginning, the character soon learns to feel confident in their appearance; clearly reflecting the message of Arcade Fire‘s recent single. As the track comes to its climactic finale, Garfield’s character is seen to join the band on stage at Coachella, expressing their true identity in drag.
Arcade Fire have recently been confirmed to perform at London’s Hyde Park on 3rd July as part of the British Summer Time Festival. They will also be headlining Glastonbury on Friday 27th June.
