Marina and the Diamonds has revealed the video to accompany her latest single, ‘FROOT’. The track is the lead single from the upcoming third studio album of the same name.
The video has been cut slightly shorter than the original song, which is over five minutes long, and is aesthetically stunning, drawing from the same vibrancy that the album cover and audio video promised thus far. Diamandis is donned in Hollywood dresses and vintage wear, with the video having a hazy, delicious aura and sultry lighting.
Diamandis has recently revealed that her album, FROOT, comprises of six colours, each representing a different fruit. Upon pre-ordering the album, which was made available to do via iTunes yesterday, fans will receive a new track every month, the ‘Froot of the month’, for the next half a year until the album hits shelves next April.
Diamandis had recently teased the track list to fans as well as revealing the sound to ‘FROOT’ last month. She has now revealed the artwork of the album and FROOT is available to pre-order on iTunes now which will result in an instant download of the title track and lead single.
