Korean pop-sensation Psy has released the video for his latest single ‘Gentleman’.
The track is the follow up to 2012’s viral hit ‘Gangnam Style‘ which is now the most watched video of all time on Youtube with over 1.5 billion views.
The video revisits much of the content and characters of that which shot Psy into the limelight, with appearances from the thrusting man in the lift, and the odd looking fellow in a yellow suit.
It is unsurprising that the track itself also tries to play to the strengths of ‘Gangnam Style’, with strangely similar combinations of Korean and English in the lyrics. This however leads to increasingly strange lines, including the chorus “matto fatto gentleman.”
Not only this, but Psy proves to be overwhelmingly childlike as he plays pranks on women throughout the video, but this is juxtaposed against awkwardly sexual lyrics like “gonna make you sweat, gonna make you wet.” Also look out for the horrifyingly creepy shots of Psy eating noodles.
‘Gentleman’ currently stands at number 22 on the iTunes chart and is expected to chart on Sunday, after being released across the globe on Thursday (April 11th).
