Alternative/Indie band Superfood headline this year’s NME ‘New Breed’ tour, showcasing the up and coming talent on the music scene today. They will be teaming up with Scottish female duo Honeyblood to embark on a tour around the UK starting on the 31st October in Birmingham and finishing in Brighton on 12th November (they will travel to Oxford on 5th November).
Opening each night of the New Breed Tour will be local band from each host city, hand-picked by NME and Superfood. Supporting in Oxford will be young indie/pop quartet Orange Vision.
Superfood’s most recent EP, MAM, was first played by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1 back in January and the band have quickly been gathering support and exposure ever since, particularly after supporting We Are Scientists and Wolf Alice earlier this year. In September they revealed that they had just put the finishing touches to their debut album, Don’t Say That, which is due for release during this tour, on 3rd November.
Tickets are on sale for £10.00 for all dates of the NME New Breed Tour 2014, here.
