The Sebright Arms in Hackney will play host to a myriad of up-and-coming music from Super Cat. Natalie McCool, YOUTH, Girl Friend and the latest addition to the lineup, Tempesst, will be filling the East End pub with cool jams throughout the evening.
Joining the lineup are the ultra-fresh Tempesst. They’re an Australian-based duo who dip their toes into anything and everything, and have been likened to early Fleet Foxes. Their debut track, ‘Tidal Wave’, has something of a retro vibe about it.
Natalie McCool first gained recognition for her talents when she won a songwriting competition judged by Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. Her silky voice and edgy electronic counterparts strike a precise balance in her music.
YOUTH look to be the most electronic piece of the night. She’s an Italian Conti graduate called Krissy, creating effortlessly cool neo-pop. Her voice echoes CHVRCHES’ Lauren Mayberry, which is showcased against the backdrop of her undulating synth work.
Girl Friend will be last to take the stage, bringing with them vibrant indie-pop reminiscent of early Two Door Cinema Club. Hailing 80’s electro pop acts as their inspiration, the Manchester-based group will be filling The Sebright Arms with disco vibes.
Tempesst, Natalie McCool, YOUTH and Girl Friend play The Sebright Arms in London on Tuesday 21st July from 19:30. Tickets are £5 in advance or £6 on the door, and are available via this link.
