In April, Troye Sivan will be coming to the UK as part of his first world tour following the release of his album Blue Neighbourhood which charted in over 20 countries, including five top-ten chart positions, of which one was in the UK. The tour is set to include all of his major singles to date, including ‘Youth’, ‘Talk Me Down’ and ‘Wild’. Sivan will hit England for shows in Manchester, Birmingham and London between the 18th and 23rd April.
Sivan’s debut album was lauded by both fans and music critics alike, being described by The Guardian as “difficult to find fault with”, while praising Sivan for “capturing the sound of now so well”. Sivan started off as a YouTube blogger, where he won several awards, but in the last two years has found his niche in the music industry. Releasing his EP in 2013, Blue Neighbourhood stands as his debut album. Sivan’s music has quickly become famous for exploring the trepidations of the life of a young gay man, leading to his nomination for a GLAAD Music Award in 2016.
Tickets for Troye Sivan’s show at O2 Shepherds Bush Empire are unfortunately sold out.
