Cambridge-based quintet Mallory Knox headline this year’s Butserfest at the Queen Elizabeth Country Park in Petersfield.

The one-day festival will be taking places on the 10th September and boasts a plethora of high-quality artists joining Mallory Knox in its line-up, ranging from internationally renowned acts such as Young Guns, Moose Blood and As It Is, to local, up-and-coming acts on the Introducing Stage.

There are three stages at Butserfest, as well as an Acoustic Shack, each showcasing either ten or eleven acts across the day.

The festival was created following a consultation between East Hampshire District Council and local young people, where the council looked to establish how they could create more things to do in the area for the younger generation. 2016 will see Butserfest celebrate its tenth year, with each year boasting a bigger and better line-up, which is testament to its ever-growing reputation as one of the UK’s most intriguing small festivals.

Butserfest has also proved to be a stomping ground for artists who have gone on to shine in the mainstream thanks in part to their headlining slots at the festival. Acts such as You Me At Six, We Are The Ocean, Deaf Havana, Lower Than Atlantis, and Don Broco have all gone on to bigger and better things following appearances at Butserfest.

It also proves to be one of the cheapest festivals around, with Tier 1 tickets starting at just £10, whilst tickets on the door are still only £30. For a line-up of the quality of Butserfest, you’d be hard-pressed to find a festival that provides better value for money!
