Gracing the Bournemouth International Centre with their ever-welcome presence, Catfish and The Bottlemen will be performing at BIC on November 6th as part of their current UK tour.
The band, consisting of frontman Ryan Evan “Van” McCann, Benjamin Blakeway, Robert Hall and Johnny Bond originate from Llandudno in Wales and formed in 2007 with previous members Billy Bibby and Jon Barr. Since their formation, Catfish have taken the UK by storm and appeared at festivals such as Glastonbury, Latitude and Reading & Leeds. Their debut album, The Balcony (featuring singles such as ‘Cocoon’ and ‘Kathleen’) reached a staggering number 10 in the UK Albums Chart and as a result, they received a Brit award for British Breakthrough Act earlier this year.
Their second album, The Ride, was released in May 2016 and featured singles such as ‘Soundcheck’ and ‘7’ – the album shortly rose to #1 in the Official UK Chart. The success of The Ride has lead them to announce a second UK tour beginning next month in Bournemouth on the 6th and ending in Coventry on the 17th, hitting cities such as Birmingham, Manchester and Glasgow along the way.
